My name is Kaz Hall, I’m a maker, based in Shropshire, England. I have over 15 years of experience in mixed media, my passion for art has taken my work to be published in craft magazines, displayed at trade shows in the UK, Europe and America and teaching mixed- media workshops.

When faced with the challenges of the pandemic, I diversified, delving into up-cycling, restoration, crocheting, woodwork and more. However, it was the solace found in returning to painting and mixed-media in 2024 that reignited my artistic flame, providing comfort and therapy through expression in my art journal.

My distinctive style in mixed media art is heavily influenced by industrial vintage aesthetics, characterized by layers of chippy paint and a grungy vintage vibe. My creative process often involves scouring through junk shops for original old photographs, unique findings, and ephemera to infuse her art with a touch of nostalgia and individuality.

Through my journey of rediscovering the joy of creating, I hope to inspire and empower others to embark on their own artistic ventures and experience the therapeutic benefits of creative art journaling. Join me at "The Maker's Table" as I invite you to unleash your creativity and explore the world of mixed media artist.
